Bhubaneswar: Odisha Police cracked IPL betting racket in Jharsuguda, Brahmapur. After the busting of an Indian Premier League (IPL) betting racket in Brahmapur recently, the Jharsuguda police have cracked another IPL betting racket and arrested five persons in this connection.
On a tipoff, the police conducted a raid on the house of main accused Prateek Jadav of Chaukipada in the town and seized cash and mobile phones used for betting. The cops also seized Rs 7 lakh cash from the possession of the accused.
During interrogation, Pratik confessed that four more youths are also involved in the betting, following which they were also arrested.
