Odisha Police arrested 5 people in connection to illegal cow transporting in Kujanga

Report by Kahnu Nanda, Jagatsinghpur: Basing on locals information and prompt action taken by Kujanga police station, 11 cows were rescued illegally transporting to neighbouring Kendrapada district in this connection cops have arrested 5 persons including drivers involved in the trade. Report said that few villagers of Janapal village under Pankapala Panchayat in Kujanga area were reported police on Thursday night that about 5 vehicles carrying cows have grounded on village outskirts as consequence few people intercepted these vehicles. Before police arrival three vehicles managed to run away from the spot, cops and villagers captured two vehicles carrying 11 cows. 5 persons were arrested in this illegal trading identified as Mustak Ali from Krishnanandapur village under Tirtol block, Sk Kalim Ulla from Kendrapada, Sk Usman Ali from Janapala village and both drivers were Bhagyadhar Das and Meghanad Mallick hailing from Jogania village.
