Bhubaneswar: Pipili Chandua (appliqué) would get a place on the railway website IRCTC through the e-marketing system.
This was stated by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu at a meeting here on Sunday. The Pipili Chandua is one of the oldest crafts in Odisha, he maintained.
Before joining the BJP national executive meeting in Bhubaneswar, Prabhu had attended a party workers’ meeting in Pipili. He queried about the digital transaction system by visiting six Chandua shops in the Pipili market.
