Bhubaneswar: Odisha Mining Corporation, OHPC presented CM Naveen Patnaik with dividends of ₹500 crore and ₹18.65Cr respectively. CM Naveen Pantaik stated that the funds would be utilized to augment various pro-people development and welfare programmes in the state.
Steel and Mines Minister Prafulla Mallick met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and handed over a cheque for Rs 500 crore to him at the Secretariat here towards OMC’s dividend for 2018-19 against the State Government’s equity holding in the company, said an official release.
Steel and Mines Additional Chief Secretary RK Sharma, OMC Chairman Sanjeev Chopra and Managing Director R Vineel Krishna were present on the occasion.
Similarly, Energy Minister Susanta Singh handed over cheque of Rs 18.65 crore to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in presence of Energy Secretary Hemant Sharma and OHPC Chairman and MD Vishal Kumar Dev.
