Odisha: Jagatsinghpur Muslim community demands ban Wasim Rizavi film ‘Ayesha the Mother’

Report by Kahnu Nanda; Jagatsinghpur: Hundreds Muslim people across Jagatsinghpur district staged demonstration and a protest in front of collector office here on Thursday demanding to ban the Wasim Rizavi ‘s upcoming movie ‘Ayesha the Mother’, later the community men submitted a memorandum before district collector addressed the hon’ble President of India and other dignitaries.

Report said that the Chairman of SIHA Waqaf Board, Lucknow Wasim Rizavi on 12, August 2019 had uploaded a 36 second video on his film Ayesha the Mother in different social Medias, which is objectionable and anti-Islam hurting religious sentiment of Muslim people across globe.

The film has depicted imaginary face of prophet Mohammad‘s wife Ayesha Radiallahu Taala Anha, stated to be an unrefined presentation of Islamic religion, which bans showing of prophet and his kin imaginary photos public the Muslim protestors fumed. We demand immediate arrest of anti-Islam man Rizavi and legal action against him forthwith, they added.

Earlier Muslim people were taken out a rally from Court Chhak and converged at Collector office parade ground here and staged protest meeting. The agitation was led by Muslim leaders as Mohammad Nazir, Ekbal Ahemmd Shah, Shaikh Aminus Sajedeen, Jakir Uddin Khan and many others.
