Bhubaneswar: Odisha govt revised evacuation plan in view of Cyclone Fani. Revised evacuation target to 11.54lakh against 8 lakh set earlier. By Thursday 3pm, 3.31 lakh people living in coastal low-lying areas have already been evacuated. Officials have been directed to ensure 100% evacuation in vulnerable areas by today evening as still 8 lakh will be evacuated in 13 districts of Odisha likely to be affected in Cyclone Fani.
Maximum 1.82 lakh in Ganjam district, Jajpur 29500, Bhadrak 24600, Jagatsinghpur 20000, Puri 22250; a total 11.54 lakh people will be evacuated in 13 districts of Odisha likely to be affected in CycloneFani.
Odisha govt advisory on Cyclone Fani People were requested to remain indoor. Shops, market, office & movement of vehicles to shut tomorrow.
