Bhubaneswar: After careful consideration Government in School & Mass Education has decided to increase 10% seat over and above the sanctioned strength of Junior Colleges/Higher Secondary Schools located in rural and tribal areas excepting Government Junior Colleges of the state for the session 2017-18 only.
In an another move the Department has also taken a decision to give one more chance to students who had slided up but failed to take admission in the colleges of their higher option. Be it be mentioned that the admission of 3401 no of students were cancelled due to autosliding and they are deprived of admission in any college.
Now they have been advised to move to their higher option colleges and take admission on or before 19th August, 2017 positively. All such students will beadmitted in higher preference colleges only.
