Odisha Govt expecting 5 lakh people to return to state from outside states after #COVID19 lockdown restrictions lifted

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Govt expecting 5 lakh people to return to state from outside states after  COVID19 lockdown . Nearly 5 lakh persons will return to the villages of Odisha from other states after movement restrictions are lifted. CM Naveen Patnaik has set in motion his roadmap to put all returnees in mandatory quarantine. Sarpanchs will play a decisive role in this.

“We expect 5 lakh people to return to #Odisha from outside states once #COVID19 lockdown restrictions are lifted,” says Odisha Govt Spokesperson on #Coronavirus, Subroto Bagchi.

Around 7.50 lakh people from #Odisha are stranded in other states. #Odisha Govt is making an online portal, through which they can resister to return to the state. This will begin on April 24 says Govt. Without registration on a government portal, no person will be allowed to return to state after COVID19 Lockdown restrictions are lifted . MANDATORY QUARANTINE at medical camps for people returning from other states after #COVID19 #Lockdown restrictions are lifted; NO HOME QUARANTINE will be allowed says Odisha Govt.
