Odisha Govt to develop Satibhata, Rangeilunda airstrips at the cost of Rs 19 cr

 

Bhubaneswar: The State Government would develop two airstrips, Satibhata of Bargarh district and Rangeilunda of Ganjam district, for providing inter-State flight service. A total of Rs 19.43 crore would be spent for the purpose, General Administration Department sources said. More land would be acquired for terminal building, ancillary building and runway construction for making the airstrips functional. The Government has already approved Rs 3.32 crore and the remaining amount would be sanctioned in various phases, the sources said.
