Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Development Authority (Planning & Building Standard) Rules 2020 will bring uniform norms, eliminate the need for multiple regulations from different Development Authorities & introduce a common online platform for building plan approval. Minister for Housing & Urban Development, Sri Pratap Jena formally announced the notification of Odisha Development Authorities (Planning and Building Standards) Rules, 2020.
The Odisha Development Authority (Planning & Building Standard) Rules, 2020 has a host of relaxations to ensure that the affordable housing & real estate sector bounces back without compromising on the basic structural stability and fire safety norms.
These Rules feature many novel and unique urban planning initiatives which are both transformative & futuristic. This will make building & planning norms uniform across the State & will set the stage for a fully automated building plan approval system.
