Bhubaneswar: Governor of Odisha Satya Pal Malik interacted with Vice-Chancellors and Heads of different voluntary organizations when they called on Governor in Raj Bhavan today. This was the first meeting of Governor and Chancellor with Vice-Chancellors. Vice-Chancellors apprised Governor on the functioning of their respective university. Governor told Vice-Chancellors to be focused on quality education and research and to ensure that students develop a spirit of innovation and acquire employable skills.
Governor also met State Functionaries of different voluntary organizations under his control. State Branch of Indian Red Cross Society, Bharat Scouts and Guides and St. John Ambulance presented a brief account of their activities and programmes. Governor appreciated them and urged upon to continue the good work and render dedicated and commendable service.
