#Odisha Finance Minister tables Rs 1,20,028 cr Budget for 2018-19, Rs 16,765 crore allocated for agriculture sector

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Finance Minister Shashi Bhusan Behera tables Rs 1,20,028 cr Budget for 2018-19.

The Government has estimated the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) to grow at 8 – 8.5 % per cent for the fiscal year 2018-19. It estimated 7.14% growth of GSDP in the current fiscal.

Allocation of Rs 16,765 crore has been made for the agriculture sector.
Provision of Rs 4411.20 Cr made for Rural Development
Rs 8979 Cr made for Water Resources
Rs 4022.89 Cr allocated for Health and Family Welfare
Rs 9333.20 Cr for Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water
Provision of Rs 1865 cr made for Disaster Response Fund
Rs 5958.25 Cr provided towards School and Mass Education
Rs 155 Cr allocated for Watershed Management Programme.
Rs 100 Cr allocated for supply of quality seeds
Provision of Rs 350 crore made for Urban Development
Rs 50 Cr allocated for ‘Mo School Campaign’
Rs 1800 cr allocated for Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan
Rs 808 cr for Mid Day Meal Scheme
Rs 500 cr for Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan
Rs 104 Cr allocated for Horticulture
Provision for Rs 1247 Cr have been made for Gangadhar Meher Lift Canal Project
Rs 635 Cr outlay for Nabakrushna Choudhury Secha Unnayan Yojana
Rs 1250 Cr allocated for #AmaGaonAmaBikash Programme
Rs 365 Cr outlay for 2 new medical colleges and hospital at Balasore and Balangir
Rs 400 Cr allocated for #SmartCitiesMission
Rs 250 Cr for AMRUT
Rs 808 Cr outlay for Soil Conservation
Rs 1000 Cr for Rural Water Supply
Rs 500 Cr provided for Gopabandhu Gramin Yojana
Rs 50 Cr proposed for providing free Sanitary napkins to girl students of class VI-XII of govt & govt-aided schools
Rs 30 Cr outlay for organic farming
