Bhubaneswar: Odisha DGP BK Sharma inaugurated 3rd Conference of Commandants of Armed Police Battalions today. Changing role of armed police in naxalite operations, disaster response, management of law & order or security scenario are being discussed.
Battalions in Malkangiri, Rourkela, Cuttack, Dhenkanal & Khurda to come under the purview of e-facility with latest upgraded technologies by March 2020, informs Odisha DGP at the Commandant Conference in Police Bhawan .
