Mallick’s joining assumed significance as it happened on a day when the BJD organised a massive youth convention at Brahmapur to raise voice against the BJP-led NDA Government’s alleged negligence towards Odisha and propagate the State Government’s welfare schemes.
Pradhan said Mallick, who was Congress MLA candidate for Polsara seat and got over 45,000 votes during the last general elction, would strengthen the BJP in Ganjam.
