Report by Deba Prasad Dash; Malkangiri: In a mission to interact with the people at the doorsteps , collector D.Prashant Kumar Reddy today hold a meeting in Kalimela Block Office aimed at the redressal of grievances of the people coming from the remote and inaccessible areas under the block.
Reddy while hearing the grievances of the people for hours together accepted petitions from them. In all, the Collector accepted as many as 80-85 petitions from citizens, who had turned up from across the different villages. The petitions covered a wide range of topics, ranging from housing, old age pensions and land related issues
The Collector asked concerned officials on the spot to take quick action on all the petitions. Senior officials of the District administration also took part in the grievance redressal meeting.
This is for the second time the collector hold a grievance redressal meeting at Maoist stronghold of Kalimela.The collector is attending the grievance redressal meetings at different places across the district since he took over as the District Collector.
