Bhubaneswar : Chief Minister of Odisha Navin Pattanaik yesterday released the second iteration of the State Action Plan on Climate Change for Odisha and Climate Change Budget Coding. He released the action plan in a special function organized by the state Environment and Forest Department on the occasion of World Environment Day.
Leading climate change advisory firm CTRAN Consulting worked with Climate Change cell on this exercise with funding support provided through Non Lending Technical Assistance and Action for Climate today. In addition eco club guidelines and some journals were also released. Among others, the minister of forest Sri Bijoyshree Routray, Addl CS Sri Suresh Mohapatra, Director Environment Dr Mrugesan were present.
