Dhamra: Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Pattnaik inaugurated some government projects along with ‘Adani Skill Development Centre’ (ASDC) in Kuamara Panchayat of Chanbali Block during his visit to Bhadrak District on 2nd March. In order to make the local youths self independent through training, Adani foundation has established a Skill Development Centre in Kuamara Panchayat. To provide better employment facility to the local youths of Chandbali area as well as to the nearby villagers the Skill Development Centre has been established.
On this occasion, Shri Bijayshree Routray, Hon’ble Minister Forest & Environment, Odisha, Shri Prafulla Samal, Hon’ble Minister, SSEPD, W&CD, MS&ME, Odisha, Shri Arjun Charan Sethi, Hon’ble MP,Bhadrak, Shri. Muktikant Mandal, Hon’ble MLA, Dhamnagar, Shri Byomkesh Ray, Hon’ble MLA, Chandbali, Shri Dwijabar Rout, Zilla Parisad Chairman, Bhadrak, Shri Gyana Das, Collector, Bhadrak and other senior officials of Adani Foundation were present.
ASDC invested approximately Rs 3.15 cr to develop its premises. Dhamra Centre is well equipped with all the technical and non-technical resources with fully furnished theory and Practical (Lab) rooms for training which consist of 15 Sewing Machines, 30 computers for Digital Literacy training, Internet facilities, well maintained classrooms, proper sanitization facilities, drinking water availability, CCTV cameras for safety and surveillance, etc. to provide healthy and safe learning and training environment to the trainees.
