Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reserve one third seats in Parliament & Assemblies saying that that the country will move with greater momentum if half of the population are provided rightful place in highest decision making process.
He wrote to PM Narendra Modi urging to pass a bill to reserve one third seats for women in Parliament & Legislatures as such historic decision to empower women will be fittest tribute to #FatheroftheNation on his #150BirthAnniversary
In letter to PM Narendra Modi, CM Naveen Patnaik said empowerment of women is empowerment of the Nation. #Odisha reserves 50% seats in Panchayats and ULBs & has adopted unanimous Resolution for one third reservation to women in Parliament & Assemblies.
