Puri: Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik to lay foundation stone of Shree Mandira Parikrama Project in Puri today.

He will also attend a Yajna marking the commencement of the project work. Sankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati and Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb will also attend the Purnahuti of the three-day Yajna near Uttar Dwar of the shrine.

Besides, the CM will unveil an information board displaying a detailed plan outlay of the corridor project, the cost of which is Rs 330 crore.

The district administration has made arrangement at the Uttar Dwar limiting sitting for 350 guests and invitees, sources to the DIPRO informed. Reporters are not allowed to spot and they will stay in a makeshift room far from the Yajna site for gathering news live from TV sets there.

Almost all Ministers of the State besides many top officers have been invited for the function. The land donors for the project will be honoured on the occasion.
