Bhubaneswar: Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik speaks to Andhra CM N Chandrababu Naidu over death of Odia student and urges him to hand over probe to an independent agency. It should be noted that Odia boy Shreyas Kesharwani (Omm), a student from Sambalpur, allegedly due to ragging by his friends at a private college in Visakhapatnam.
He was studying in Sri Chaitanya College at Visakhapatnam. He was allegedly ragged and beaten up brutally by a few students inside the hostel. He was admitted to a hospital in Rourkela for treatment and later shifted to Bhubaneswar. He died while undergoing treatment at the hospital on January 6.
