Bhubaneswar: Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik says CAA has nothing to do with Indian citizens, it only deals with foreigners. BJD MPs in Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha have made it clear that we do not support NRC. I would appeal to our citizens to let peace prevail.
Addressing a presser today, the Chief Minister said, the MPs of BJD have made it clear that they do not support NRC in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
He further added that BJP had voted in favour of CAB in the Parliament. “Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) has nothing to do with Indian citizens, it only deals with foreigners”, the Chief Minister added. Naveen appealed to the citizens to let peace prevail and not to indulge in rumour mongering.
