Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik lauded role of lawyers in shaping the society and highlighted state government’s efforts for developing judicial infrastructure to ensure timely justice for the needy public. CM Patnaik said this while addressing the All Odisha Lawyers Conference in presence of Hon’ble Chief Justice of India Shri Dipak Misra.
Highlights from his address at the event:
• Efforts undertaken to ensure speedy delivery of justice in the state.
• More than 170 courts established in the last 4 years and 50 new courts to be established in the next financial year
• Step towards easy access to justice in form of Madhu Babu Aain Sahayata Kendra being established in each Gram Panchayat of the State.
• Contribution of ₹3Cr annually to Advocate’s Welfare Fund
He urged upon all members of the lawyer community to dedicate their efforts towards serving the poor litigants of the state and ensure easy access to justice.
