Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurated more than 3000 ‘Mo Seba Kendra’ and ‘Odisha One Portal’

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today, on the occasion of 105th Birth Anniversary of Legendary Leader Biju Pattanik, observed as Panchayatiraj and Lok Seba Divas, inaugurated more than 3000 ‘Mo Seba Kendra’ and ‘Odisha One Portal’ through virtual mode.

Chief Minister said that to provide public services to citizens at their door steps under 5-T framework, Odisha launched ‘Mo Seba Kendra’ initiative and people can now visit the nearby ‘Mo Seba Kendra’ for payment of electricity and water bills, receiving necessary certificates, payment of taxes, etc.

Chief Minister further said that State Government is planning to set up more than 7000 ‘Mo Seba Kendras’ across the State with at least one in each GP and at least one for 25,000 population in urban areas. This initiative will enable citizens to avail public services without visiting Government Offices frequently, he added.

Chief Minister also said that State Government has developed ‘Odisha One’, a unified digital service delivery platform to ensure swift delivery of online services at these facilities. More than 100 services of various departments have been integrated into this platform and around 400 services will be added in future, he added.

Minister, Sports and Youth Services, Electronics and IT Sri Tusharkanti Behera, Hon’ble MPs and Hon’ble MLAs, Advisor, Electronics and IT Department Sri Anubhab Pattanaik, Chief Secretary Sri Suresh Chandra Mohapatra, Secretary, Electronics and IT Department Sri Manoj Mishra were present on the occasion while Secretary to Hon’ble Chief Minister (5-T) Sri V.K. Pandian moderated.
