Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated 132/33KV sub-station in Bhogarai, Balasore to provide good quality electricity to 1.5 lakh people in the region & boost various development projects. Since power infrastructure is key to development, this project will immensely benefit tourism and lift irrigation projects in the region.
In last 17 years, number of grids in the state have grown from 61 to 134 and transmission lines grew from 8,000 circuit km to 13,500 circuit km. It has resulted in improvement of quality of living for farmers, traders and women.
