Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik felicitated freedom fighters from Odisha who would be participating in the At Home Function hosted by President of India to mark the Quit India Movement on 9 August.
The freedom fighters are Shri Sahadev Behera and Chakradhar Parida from Nayagarh district, Dadhichi Sahoo from Jajpur district and Gandharba Acharya from Cuttack district.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik wished them comfortable and safe journey. The state government deputed two Government officials to escort them to Delhi and take care of all their needs.
“We are indebted to our freedom fighters and salute them for their struggles and sacrifices for the nation,” said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
