Balangir: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today dedicated the Bhima Bhoi Medical College & Hospital, Balangir. It will fulfill a long cherished dream of local people and take forward Government’s aim to deliver quality healthcare to all areas of the State. With the dedication of Bhima Bhoi Medical College & Hospital, the total number of MBBS seats now rises to 950, a threefold increase since year 2000.
It will not only realize another long cherished dream of the Kalahandi-Balangir-Koraput (KBK) area but also become instrumental in taking forward Odisha’s resolve to provide inclusive & equitable healthcare in all parts of the State.
It was a pleasure to welcome the first batch of students of Bhima Bhoi Medical College, Balangir. The saint poet had always spread the message of love for humanity. Hope it will inspire students to dedicate their lives to the service of the needy and underprivileged.
