Odisha’s Jayanti Behera bagged the bronze medal by clocking a timing of 27.45 seconds, in the 200-metre sprint event in the Asian Para Games 2018 in Jakarta on Tuesday. Born in Puri’s Sakhigopal in 1999, Behera is a Track and Field Athlete who represents India in the women’s 200m, 400m, and 800m event. She is World youth champion in the TR 400m event and has also won the gold medal at the recent National Para Athletics Championships 2018 in Panchkula 2018.
