Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik announces Rs 5 crore aid to Kerala for relief , restoration caused by floods

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced assistance of five crores rupees for relief and restoration of the damage caused by floods in Kerala and expressed solidarity with those affected by the extreme weather event. The assistance of Rs five crore from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for relief and restoration works in the flood hit areas of Kerala.

 

On behalf of the people of Odisha, Naveen has conveyed his deep sorrow for the people of Kerala affected by the recent floods in which at least 79 valuable lives have been lost, and there has been extensive damage to property.
