Bhubhaeswar: Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik announces relief for 15 days in flood hit areas Cyclone Titli Aftermath . On an average a family of 4 members will be assisted with more than Rs 3000 as relief at the rate of Rs 60 per adult and Rs 45 per child per day; connectivity will be restored within the next 48 hours says CM Naveen Patnaik after reviewing Cyclone Titli damages.

“Electricity supply to 90 percent of affected areas will be ensured in next 48 hours and the remaining ten percent areas in 3 to 5 days,” he said. “Safe drinking water will be provided in all blocks within 48 hours and all tube wells will be repaired by Sunday,” the CM further announced. He said water supply will be restored in all urban areas in the next 24 hours. Generator sets will be used wherever required.

“House damage and crop damage assessment will start once the immediate relief and restoration measures are completed,” the CM concluded. Chief Secretary AP Padhi, SRC Bishnupada Sethi and other senior officials present .
