Odisha CM Naveen Patanik welcomed 200 Buddhist Kung Fu nuns from the Himalayas in Bhubanswar

Bhubaneswar: Over 200 Buddhist Kung Fu nuns from the Himalayas led by His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa have cycled down to Odisha carrying social messages for the people. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik welcomed them to our state & urged them to explore its rich Buddhist heritage.

“Glad to meet His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa & Buddhist nuns who are on a cycle yatra to Buddhist heritage sites in our state. Odisha is an ancient seat of Buddhism & major spiritual destination for Buddhists from across the world. This visit will further enhance spiritual tourism to the state,” said CM Naveen Patnaik.
