Odisha CM expresses his gratitude to the Gajapati Maharaj, servitors & people for their cooperation in the initiative for Sri Jagannath temple heritage corridor project

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expresses his gratitude to the Gajapati Maharaj, servitors & people of Puri for their cooperation in the initiative for Sri Jagannath temple heritage corridor project during a virtual address in the Odisha Assembly.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said that Lord Sri Jagannath is the highest identity of Odia people. Our history, culture, tradition and faith, everything is centred on Mahaprabhu. Describing Lord Jagannath as the symbol of Odia self-esteem, Chief Minister felt himself grateful presenting ‘Srimandir Parikrama Plan’ for the people of Odisha in the Assembly.

Chief Minister said that the plan has been prepared under the leadership of Gajapati Maharaja. Describing the plan as that of 4.5 Crore Odias, Hon’ble Chief Minister thanked Gajapati Maharaja for this great deed and every individual who have extended cooperation in finalising this plan.

Chief Minister stating that it is the historical moment and a rare chance for every Odia said that Lord has given us the opportunity for development of Srikhetra. We all Odias are part of this unique moment, he added.

Chief Minister said that Lord Jagannath has lead the battle against Kanchi for self-respect of Odias and was seated on the Chariot of sand leaving Nadighosa to save the prestige of His devotees. We will be extremely fortunate if we have a little contribution for the development of Srikhetra, he added.
