Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy urges people not to be desperate and crowd the markets after Shutdown over. Chief Secretary said that Shutdown to be over at 8pm. Chief Secretary says that there is no evidence of community transmission in Surya Nagar & Bomikhal cases as we were apprehending earlier. The benefit of containment strategy & shutdown is COVID19 testing can be aggressively done & subsequently we’ll be able to limit the infection.

People are requested not to be desperate and crowd the markets. However, DMs &Commissioners of corporations may depending upon situation pass appropriate orders for containment in their jurisdiction wherever required “However Lockdown to continue till 14th April.
