Bhubaneswar: Odisha capital Bhubaneswar reported 317 COVID19 positive cases in last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, 206 were from quarantine and 111 were local contacts.
The quarantined cases included 12 from Acharya Vihar; nine of Reserve Police; nine of Salia Sahi; six of Unit-6; six of Nayapalli Nilakantha Nagar; six of Brahmeswar Patna; five private hospital staffs; five cases of IRC Village N-6; five of Sundarpada; five of Chintamaneswar; four Fire Service staffs; four cases of Saheed Nagar; four of Jayadev Vihar; three Central Government staffs; three cases of Satya Vihar; three of Shashtri Nagar; three of Rasulgarh GGP Colony; three of Paika Nagar; three of Bomikhal Gobinda Vihar; and three of Patia Swapnapuri Road.
Local contacts included five cases of Sala Sahi; four Vigilance staffs; four cases of Unit-6; four of Vani Vihar Pathar Bandha; four of Laxmisagar; four of Jharpada; and three of Kharavel Nagar.
However, 170 persons recovered on the day taking the total recoveries to 4,389 in the city. In Cuttack, as 114 more persons tested positive on Sunday, taking the city’s tally to 3,218.
Of the new cases, 34 were from institutional quarantine including 19 from the SCB Medical College Hospital isolation ward, 47 from home quarantine and 33 local contact cases.
