Bhubaneswar: Odisha capital Bhubaneswar ready to host 22nd Asian Athletics Championships from 5-9 July with world class facilities. CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurate the newly laid synthetic track & training facilities at Kalinga Stadium for the 22nd Asian Athletics Championships.

CM Naveen Patnaik also unveiled medals for the continent’s premier athletics event. He went around the renovated stadium complex. “I am filled with pride that we have put up such world class infrastructure & facilities in record time .We are emerging as the sports capital of the country and hosting International events. We will be hosting the Hockey World League Finals in December this year and the World Cup Hockey in 2018,” said CM Naveen Patnak.

CM Naveen Patnaik felicitated eminent Odia athletes on the occasion and welcomed all athletes & delegates to AAC2017.
