Odisha: Campaign for polls end in Jagatsinghpur, voting to take place on tomorrow

Report by Kahnu Nanda; Jagatsinghpur: The campaigning for the 4 assembly segments and lone Lok Sabha constituency spreading Jagatsinghpur district ended on Saturday evening with road shows, public meetings and door to door communications by candidates and their supporters by various political parties and independent aspirants in poll fray.
Report said that candidates from major political parties were held road shows in their constituency headquarters, Jagatsinghpur constituency congress candidate Chiranjib Biswal , BJD candidate Prasant Muduli and BJP candidate Satyabrata Mohapatra were organized roadshows on Saturday, hundreds of party supporters accompanying candidates were trekked on the shows had drawn huge public attention.
Meanwhile in Tirtol assembly segment congress candidate Devi Prasad Mallick, BJP candidate Ramakanta Bhoi and supporters of BJD candidate ailing Bishnu Das had organized road shows in different locations under Biridi, Raghunathpur and Tirtol blocks.
Paradip port town had thronged frenzy with sympathizers of various political parties on Saturday, BJD candidate for the Paradip assembly seat Sambit Routray accompanying party’s heavy weights held public shows, door to door campaigning to woo voters. Congress candidate Bapi Sarkhel too had showed road demonstration taking his party cadres.
In Balikuda- Erasama assembly segment BJP candidate Damodar Rout presented roadshows from Erasama headquarters to Balikuda covering many villages and hamlets spreading constituency, his contenders BJD candidate Raghunandan Das and Congress candidate Lalatendu Mohapatra held public roadshows on Saturday drew public attention.
