Odisha BJP  to launch series of mass contact programmes from Oct 27, BJD says Scared BJP’s to sell “Acche Din” lies through Jumla Bol Andolan

Bhubaneswar: Odisha BJP unit to launch series of mass contact programmes from October 27. This was announced by the party state unit Chief Basant Panda. Panda announced that the saffron party will hold ‘Halla Bol’ agitation from October 27 to 30 October protesting various irregularities and corruptions and gherao all block offices across the State.

“The BJD government during its 19-year of reign has turned the State into a hub of corruptions. With an aim to create awareness among masses about the irregularities done by the ruling party, BJP has decided to launch a series of mass contact programmes,” informed State party president Basant Panda.

Panda further stated that the party will organise ‘Lok Sampark Padyatra’ at the village-level from November 1 to 30 while ‘Parivartan Yatra’ will be held from December 1 to 30.

BJD says Scared BJP’s to sell “Acche Din” lies through Jumla Bol Andolan . BJD spokesperson Sasmit Patra said, “This is nothing but a desperate attempt by a scared BJP to sell its lies of “Acche Din” to Odisha which has seen through the false promises and deception of the BJP Government in Centre over the past four and half years.
It’s actually a Jumla Bol Andolan. Over the past years, BJP has tried to sell empty dreams and “Jumlas”. The biggest Jumla perpetuated by the BJP on Odisha is its lies on Special Category Status for Odisha. In its election manifesto of 2014, the BJP has mentioned on its very first promise that it would grant special category status to Odisha if it came to power. After having come to power in 2014, the BJP has denied the rightful demand of the people of Odisha to be granted Special Category Status. Its volte-face has led to shock and surprise among the people of Odisha on the falsehood of the BJP and rightly deserves the No.1 Jumla against the people of Odisha perpetuated by the BJP. The Jumlas of 2 crore jobs, 15 lakhs in each account, black money, inflation, price rise in fuel, central cut in support for programmes and a long list of Jumlas are exposing the falsehood of the BJP.”

“After that the next programme is akin to Odisha Vinash Yatra. The BJP is a Copy-Paste party. It is scared and fearful of the high popularity of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri NaveenPatnaik and the strong support and blessings that people of Odisha have towards the Biju Janata Dal. The BJD has been successfully undertaking the Jan Sampark Padayatra for the past several years from 2nd October and this year as well it has started successfully from 2nd October, 2018 on Gandhi Jayanti and would end on 2nd November, 2018. This month long BJD programme is drawing crowds in large numbers which has unnerved the BJP and therefore since the BJP has not undertaken any Vikash in Odisha and India over the past four years, its Padayatra in the style of the BJD Padayatra is a feeble attempt to sell its programme which is nothing but akin to Odisha Vinash Yatra. The destruction of Odisha has been very well designed by the BJP. The Mahanadi waters are being stolen by the BJP Government in Chhattisgarh, the Polavaram Dam is going to be used by the BJP in Centre to flood southern parts of Odisha by destroying livelihood and habitats of the tribal brothers and sisters. The Coastal Highway of Rs.30,000 has probably been stolen as not an inch of work has started. Railways are generating revenue to the tune of Rs.16,000 crores from Odisha but have not laid one inch of track for Nabarangpur and Malkangiri despite the State Government giving free land and bearing 50% cost of construction. The BJP is bent on “Vinash” and the people of Odisha have seen through them. The Parivartan Yatra by BJP is ironic since they seem to be on their way out from Centre. With appalling results and consistent losses in by-polls including in Uttar Pradesh, where the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, both lost their Parliamentary seats of Gorakhpur and Phulpur, the BJP is scared that it there is a Parivartan coming against it across India. This fear has led to the BJP harping on Parivartan. As it is said, the fear in a person’s heart comes up on its lips. Similarly, the fear of losing the 2019 Lok Sabha elections is scaring the BJP and therefore in order to pull it’s frustrated and dejected party workers who are crest-fallen, this is another attempt by the BJP which is destined to fail,” said BJD spokesperson Sasmit Patra .
