Odisha BJP to hold demonstrations in all 314 blocks from November 7 to 17 over farmer problems

Bhubaneswar: The BJP would hold demonstrations in all 314 blocks from November 7 to 17 in protest against the State Government’s alleged inaction in resolving farmer problems that have weakened economic backbone of peasants and led several of them to commit suicide.

BJP Legislature Party Leader KV Singh Deo stated this at a Press conference held here on Sunday. Singh Deo alleged that Brunda Sahoo of Kalapani village in Bargarh district committed suicide due to callousness of the Government.

Among others, senior leader Surama Padhi, State Spokespersons Sajjan Sharma and Dillip Mohanty, State Secretary Lekhashree Samantasinghar and Krushak Morcha state president Shibaji Mohanty were present.
