Bhubaneswar: Several BJD and Congress leaders along with their supporters from different places joined the BJP at the party’s head office here on Tuesday. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, party State president Basanta Panda and BJP Legislature Party Leader KV Singh Deo welcomed them.
Khodha Assembly constituency’s BJD leader and former Kampur GP Sarpanch Kalu Charan Khandayat and many other leaders along with their supporters joined the BJP.
Cuttack district’s BJD leader and Niali Panchayat Samiti Chairman Nyayabrat Rout and Kantapada PS former chairperson Bishnupriya Pradhan along with their supporters joined the BJP.
Similarly, Puri district’s Nimapara BJD leader Ajay Mishra, Brajendra Jena and Dwijabar Baral and Congress leaders like Bhimasen Mallick and Ugresena Biswal joined the saffron party.
