Bhubaneswar: Odisha BJD announces candidates for 2 Lok Sabha, 7 assembly seats. Chandrani Murmu to contest from Keonjhar Lok Sabha seat. Mahesh Sahu to contest from Dhenkanal Lok Sabha seat.

Soumya Ranjan Patnaik to contest from Khandapada, Pranab Prakash Dash from Jajpur, Ananta Narayan Jena to contest from Bhubaneswar Central, Susanta Kumar Rout from Bhubaneswar North, Ramesh Sai from Athamallik, Ashok Bal from Korei, Mukesh Pal from Pallahara.

In the recent list of candidates for 7 Assembly constituencies announced by BJD, 5 sitting MLAs have been denied tickets-Bijay Mohanty (BBSR-Central), Priyadarshi Mishra (BBSR-North), Anubhav Patnaik (Khandpada), Sanjeev Sahu (Athamallik), Akash Das Nayak (Korei). BJD is yet to announce candidates for Champua, Kendrapada & Baripada assembly segments.
