Report by Kahnu Nanda; Jagatsinghpur: The Biju Mahila Janata Dal its Jagatsinghpur unit on Tuesday staged a demonstration and protest meeting in front of collector office here against the union government’s proposal to with draw the subsidy on LPG cylinder. The district BJD Mahila wing president MLA Rajashree Mallick addressing the protest meeting lambasted against union petroleum ministry decision cutting subsidy on LPG cylinder and choice to hike the price of LPG by Rs 4 every month, she demanded immediate withdrawal of the proposal, later BJD women leaders submitted a memorandum before collector addressed to president of India.
