Bhadrak: In order to provide quality healthcare facilities to the villagers of Dhamra, Tihidi, Chandbali and Bhadrak blocks, a well-equipped mobile health care van by Adani Foundation & Helpage India was inaugurated by Bhadrak District Collector Shri Gyanaranjan Das, IAS at District Headquarter today. This well-equipped mobile health care van comprising an expert doctor, paramedics staff and a social protection officer aims to facilitate primary health care facilities in the remote villages of Bhadrak district.
Apart from providing diagnostic and treatment facilities, the vehicle will move around the villages on regular basis and in every week to provide health care services to the patients and free medicines for various diseases will be also provided to them. In some special case, the patients will be referred to District Chief Medical Officer. Identification of mal nutrition among children will be also undertaken through this programme.
On this occasion, Bhadrak Sub-Collector Shri Narottam Behera, Dhamra Port CEO Shri Subrat kumar Tripathy, Corporate Affairs Head Meeth Meheta, DPCL CSR Head Shri Pravat Kumar Mishra. DPCL Land acquisition officer Shri Suryakant Padhee, IR Department DGM Shri Mihir Kar, Corporate Communications Deputy Manager Shri Subhashish Mishra, CSR staff, Helpage India’s Smt. Bharti Chakra and other officers of Disctrict Collectorate and Helpage were present amongst others.
