Jubail, Saudi Arabia : The Odisha Association Of Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, Utkalika has celebrated 84th Utkal Divas and it’s 10th Anniversary function With great fanfare on 26th April at Jubail. In this occasion tribute was paid to all great leaders of Odisha.
With a theme of “ Mu Odia O Mo Bhasa Odia” , whole programme was carried out in Odia Only to give tribute to Mother Odisha at far land from our motherland. Special care was taken care of to put Odia flavor in everything. Fancy dress by Utkailka kids on life of great odia leaders , pala, chakulia panda, Ollywood dance, Odia dance, sambalpuri dance, a skit on Odia regional language, fasion show ,odia songs etc…were played by family members of Utkalika.
Mr. Shamsher Ali had graced the occasion as chief guest. He had emphasized to help Odia and Odisha as little as possible to your capability to up bring our fellow Odia brothers and sisters. Indian International school principal Dr. Sayed Hameed and Dunes International School Principal Mr. Mohammad Amir had graced the occasion as Guest Of Honors.
On eve of Utkal Divas, 6th Edition of Utkalika Annual magazine opening ceremony was carried out by it’s chief editor Mr. Bibhu Prasad Das. On this 10th Anniversary, it’s founder members , Mr. Binod Bihari Sahoo, Mr. Ajay Kumar Das, Mr. Ajith Kumar Jena, Mr. Sudhir Senapati, Mr. Basant Das,Mr. Umakanta Padhi , Mr. Mustafa Baig, Mr. and Mrs. Tehera Anwar were felicitated for their contribution towards this esteemed organization.
The programme was started with recitation of Odisha’s state Anthem Bande Utkal Janani. The cultural programme was carried out by Utkalika members on guidance of cultural coordinator Mr. Bana Bihari Mohanty.
The programme was organized by it’s chief Coordinator Chinmaya Prasad Lenka articulately with it’s senior members Jayanta Mohapatra, Gagan Swain, Susanta Pradhan, Pyarimohan Mallick, Radhesyam Ram, Deepak Dhal, Subash Behera , Jaydev Sahoo, Balaram Baliar Singh, Ramakanta Jena, Arshad Hussain, Saroj Patra, Anshuman Mohanta, Bikramaditya Rath, Prabhat Parida, Prabhat Sartapathy,Pankaj Singh, Khitish Pradhan ,Sanjaya Mishra , Lokesh Mishra, Subasish Sundar Ray, Chinmaya Kar, Sameer Ray, Surya Das , Girija Shankar Pujari, Krishna Reddy , Jyoti Ranjan Choudhary, Prashant Sahoo and so many. Around 400 members all together were gathered to witness this Mega function Utkal Divas Celebration.
