Bhubaneswar: The Winter Session of State Assembly would be held before December 31, informed Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro here on Wednesday.
He said State Legislative Assembly sits for a minimum of 60 days in a calendar year.
The third and fourth sessions of House had a total 20 sitting days. The Assembly would sit for remaining 40 days before December 31.
The Governor would decide schedule of session, after which a calendar for 40 days would be prepared, Patro added.
