District Administration thanks Berhampur, Bhubaneswar Municipality officials have stepped up to expedite restoration in Puri. 900+ labourers have made 2000+ trips deploying 100+ tractors & tippers to clear the debris off the streets of the holy town of Puri.
A strong force of technicians, officers and labourers are working round the clock on war footing to restore the power supply disrupted during CycloneFani. Municipal water supply disrupted during Cyclone Fani has been completely restored in Puri. 80+ water tankers have reached multiple locations to provide water to areas without piped supply.
More than 50 tractors, 10 tippers, 20 excavators and 150 workers have been working 24×7 on Puri Beach Road to remove more than 2000 CuM of sand flown in during #CycloneFANI to clear the Puri’s iconic beachfront. Food distribution for the victims of #CyclonicFani in Puri is in full swing and going stronger. More than 22,000 food packets were distributed today at lunch and the same will be be distributed today at dinner.
