Report by Nishapati Nayak, Koraput: Two hardcore Maoists from Odisha and Chhattisgarh allegedly involved in the abduction of former legislator Jhina Hikaka in 2012, have surrendered here on Friday.
Both the ultras identified as Suna Hikoka (23)alias Divya of Narayanpatna and Sonu alias Jaga of Sukma in Chhattisgarh- carried a cash reward of Rs 4 lakh each on their heads.

Police said the surrendered rebels were in the rank of area committee members (ACM) and were working for the Koraput division of the banned outfit.
According to reports, Dibya and Sonu were influenced by the Maoist ideology and were inducted into the group in the year 2009 and 2000 respectively.
Divya who had joined the Maoist organisation in 2009 was involved in kidnapping of a legislator in 2012. She was also wanted for her involvement in the murder of at least 14 civilians apart from several other violent incidents.
