New Delhi: Odisha Parba, a three-day festival starting March 9, will bring the rich culture and heritage of the coastal state to Delhi. 2nd edition of Odisha Parba from March 9th to 11th, 2018, India Gate lawns.
OdishaParba2018 will explore the Cultural Sublimes of Odisha. Odisha’s glorious heritage and culture will come alive in the heart of New Delhi at the India Gate Lawns from 9th to 11th March. The three day event will bring alive the spectrum of Odisha’s history, art, culture, traditions, dance forms, culinary delights etc in a splendid style – the Indomitable Odias.
The three day event will bring Mahaprasad of Lord Jagannath, Authentic Odia Cuisine , Odisha Handloom,Handicraft, Odia Cultural Evenings, Book Exihibition, Photography Painting Competitions and others for . The three-day festival that will see participation of over 500 Odia artists.
“It is an attempt to showcase Odishas various aspects including its vibrant culture and rich tradition in the national capital. This fest is for all,” said Sandeep Mohapatra of Odia Samaj.
Mohapatra said dance and music shows based on various forms like Odissi, traditional folk, fusion and contemporary will be performed by eminent artists in the evenings of the three-day event.
ODIA SAMAJ, we are a trust, registered in Delhi and have been working towards bringing together the Odia community in Delhi-NCR region. It should be noted that ODIA SAMAJ successfully organised “Odisha Parba” last year on 29-30 April 2017 at India gate lawns and it was first such effort to showcase our Odia art, culture, dance, music, food, etc. here in Delhi for all to feel the pride of being the brand ambassador of Odisha.
