Kaniha: Shared Service Centre(SSC) ER-II NTPC Talcher Kaniha organized Micro & Small Enterproses (MSE) Vendor Meet on 31st January, 2020 in association with MSME, DI Cuttack and DIC Angul. A total of 60 MSE suppliers and service providers participated in the event along with senior officials of SSC ER II and NTPC Kaniha.
Shri Sudip Nag, CGM (NTPC Talcher Kaniha and SSC- ER-II) emphasised on enhanced business opportunity to the vendors in view of various initiatives taken by NTPC. He further exhorted all to understand the policy and methods adopted and give their feedback for further development.
Shri N S Rao, GM (O&M) and Shri Navin Bagai, GM (C&M- SSC ER-II) explained the new initiatives taken by NTPC such as Direct Invoice Parking and Purchase of Biomass Pellets. He also stressed the quality and timely delivery of materials, correct uploading of supporting documents and a continuous dialogue between NTPC and the vendors.
DR Pragnyasmita Sahoo, Deputy Director, MSME DI Cuttack, and Sh G B Nayak, GM, DIC Angul elaborated various programs and initiatives of Govt. of India and Govt. of Odisha and urged for the participation of more women entrepreneurs. They also encouraged the MSE vendors to improve upon the quality of products and development of more Ancillary and downstream industries.
