Kaniha : NTPC Talcher Kaniha under its CSR distributed Food Processing items on 28th August 2018. Around 10 groups of self help members consisting of four members each were given training for 45 days by NTPC Kaniha.
After successful completion of training, the members were provided Wet Grinder, Standard Grinder and Pressure Cooker.Self Group Members also received their certificates during the programme.
On this occasion, Shri P. K. Sahu, DGM(HR) spoke on the importance of self employment amongst women. He appreciated their contribution and assured further assistance for their all round development and hoped that distributed items will help them to make them self sustain in starting their own business and give them self identity.
40 women will be benefited by the CSR initiative. Participants appreciated the noble initiative of CSR department.
