Kaniha: NTPC Talcher Kaniha organised a state level painting competition on ‘Energy Conservation’ on behalf of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency under the Ministry of Power, GoI. The competition for students was held on November 1 and 2.
Students from classes V to X, of DAV public school, Kendriya Vidyalaya and Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir participated in the event. The painting competition was conducted under the National Campaign on Energy Conservation, launched by the Ministry of Power, to promote energy conservation in the country. With ‘Cleaner Planet’ and ‘Energy Efficient India’ as the central themes, the competition aimed to make the students aware about the need for conserving energy.
The competition is an exemplary effort to provide a platform to the students to showcase their creativity while making them aware about Energy Conservation.
The winners at the state level will be notified on November 8 and will be eligible to participate at the national level competition.
