“No patient with cold, cough, fever should be left out, identify and treat all”- CM Chouhan

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that in the house-to-house survey being carried out to eliminate corona infection in the state, care should be taken to ensure that no person having cold, cough, fever is left out. Each and every patient has to be searched and found and treatment should be started immediately by giving a free medical kit. Get maximum corona tests done and treat each patient. Mortality rate should be minimized with the best treatment.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has sought a copy of the model of corona control in Madhya Pradesh. The model of Madhya Pradesh will be sent to other states. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has congratulated the entire team including ministers, public representatives, officers for the control of corona in Madhya Pradesh and has expressed gratitude to the public.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that he will address all the ministers, public representatives, officers, the entire staff engaged in corona work and the people of the state on May 14 at 07.00 in the evening.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan held discussions with members of the Corona Control Core Group through video conferencing from the residence today and reviewed the status and arrangements of the corona in the districts of the state. Members of the core group, ministers, officers, ministers in charge of districts, officers were present in the meeting.

8,419 new cases

There are 8,419 new cases in the state, 10,157 patients have recovered and the number of active patients has come down to 01 lakh 08 thousand 716. Growth rate is 1.5% and 7-day average positivity is 15.6%. Today’s positivity is 12.7 percent.

Special scheme for children orphaned by Covid

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that a special scheme has been chalked out in the state for children orphaned by Covid. Under this, an amount of Rs. 05 thousand per family per month will be given as pension to such children. Besides, the government will arrange their free education; they will also be given free ration. On the death of the father of the children, the government will provide the mother a loan at zero percent interest for work.

Anticipating rain, protect Covid care centres and procured wheat

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that according to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in the coming days, so the safety of wheat procured in every district and arrangements of temporary Covid care centres should be ensured.

Increase testing

During the review of Niwari and Sheopur districts, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan gave instructions to increase testing in both districts. I.C.U. beds at Sheopur Hospital should be increased. In Niwari district, 50 cases are coming daily on an average, growth rate is 1.6% and weekly positivity is 11.9%. 61 cases are coming daily in Sheopur district, growth rate is 1.8% and weekly positivity is 12.7%. Experiment of ‘Yoga se Nirog’ in Sheopur is good. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan instructed to make maximum use of it in all districts.

Free treatment of 2280 patients under Mukhyamantri Covid Kalyan Yojana

Under the recently launched Mukhyamantri Covid Kalyan Yojana, 2280 Covid patients are being treated free of cost in 419 private hospitals affiliated to date. A total of 26,970 CKovid patients are being treated free of cost including government hospitals and contracted hospitals. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan congratulated all concerned for speedy implementation of the scheme.
